It’s My Birthday Weekend!
I turned 51 yesterday, and despite eating my body weight in chocolate, I have yet to report any magical powers kicking in. But I won’t let that stop me from trying again. :)
So, I’m taking a little time to enjoy some of my favorite things: pickleball, fried buffalo cauliflower, Costco cake, and spending time with the best husband a girl could ask for. New old lady achievement level UNLOCKED!
That means this newsletter is a little lighter than usual, but don’t worry, I have some exciting projects in the works that I can’t wait to share with you.
My audiobook narrator, CJ Locks, is sending me new chapters almost every day, and her performance is absolutely incredible. Her portrayal of Peregrine, a.k.a, the D.O.P. (Deeply Opinionated Parrot) is hilarious. I’m finding listening to Nevermore is even better than reading it! We should be completing it by early August.
I’m also deep into writing the first book in the next Aura Cove series, Aura Cove Crones. I already know you’re going to fall in love with Dort and the rest of the gang. I can’t wait to introduce them to you later this year!
